Manitoba is the launch province due to its central geography, manufacturing base, skilled labour availability, proximity to Indigenous communities, and national logistics advantage. Phase 1 establishes manufacturing capacity in Manitoba with a defined pathway to regional expansion and national deployment.
Vast North Ventures was founded by Adam Clements and Brent Poole, entrepreneurs with deep experience across construction delivery, insurance risk assessment, and project execution. Their backgrounds span on-site construction logistics, inspection and compliance, and the realities of delivering projects in complex, high-risk environments.
Vast North Ventures was established to address a structural gap in Canada’s housing system: the lack of scalable, predictable, domestic housing delivery capacity capable of serving regional, northern, Indigenous, defence, and infrastructure-linked needs.

Our Role
Vast North Ventures builds permanent, code-compliant, cold-climate modular housing using standardized, repeatable systems designed for speed, cost certainty, and scale. Our housing systems are manufactured in Canada using a hybrid steel-and-wood structural approach optimized for durability, transport resilience, and energy performance.
By industrializing housing delivery, Vast North Ventures enables governments, institutions, and communities to deploy permanent housing faster and more predictably than traditional construction allows.

Our leadership team brings hands-on experience in construction execution, logistics, inspection, and risk mitigation. Vast North Ventures was built by operators who understand both engineering design and real-world delivery — including permitting, inspections, weather constraints, labour coordination, and compliance.
This execution-first perspective informs every aspect of the platform, from standardized design to documentation, quality control, and delivery sequencing.
Platform Development Status
Vast North Ventures has completed foundational platform development, including:
